We recommend the following guidelines: Avoid thermal shock
Never place pottery under a broiler, over direct flame or on the stovetop.
Let pottery preheat with the oven. You can take the chill off by filling with hot tap water before putting in a preheated oven or adding very hot liquids or food.
When taking pottery directly from the fridge let it warm up a little before placing in a hot oven or heating in the microwave. Pottery can handle any oven temperature once it has warmed evenly.
Setting a hot dish on cold tile or countertop is another source of thermal shock. Use a potholder, cork or wooden trivet.
Use the dishwasher! Don’t be afraid to put pottery in the dishwasher. We have found it is safer washing by machine than by slippery hands. When loading dishes make sure they are not touching as they might get chipped during washing. We hope these tips will help preserve the longevity of your pottery.

At Thomas Pottery, we take pride in the craftsmanship of our pottery. All our pieces have been individually made by Bobbie or Scott and represent us as individual makers. It is important to us that you are happy with your purchase. If you are not satisfied, we will work to find you a perfect replacement.
For Custom Designs. No returns or exchanges. All custom work is made to order and will not be returnable under any circumstances.
Sale, Seconds and Clearance Items: No returns, no exchanges.
Pottery is made to order although we strive to have inventory for all items available for on-line sales. Please allow up to 3 weeks for us to make your item.
Standard shipping via UPS Ground usually takes approximate 3 - 8 business days.
Expedited Shipping can be found at checkout. Please note it may take up to 24 hours for your order to be processed. Contact us at 336-879-4145 with questions to make sure your order is o time.
No International Shipping or Shipping to Canada is available at this time.
Damaged or Incorrect Items: We will gladly accept the return of pottery that may have been damaged during shipping. Any item damaged from general wear and tear, we do not accept. All items must be returned in showroom condition.
Damages: Please send a photo(s) to email@example.com and keep packaging materials for claim inspection. Replacements will be sent immediately.
Missing or Incorrect Order: We strive for 100% satisfaction upon your package arrival, however we are not always perfect. If you happen to receive the wrong item, please contact us immediately and we will correct the problem.
